Mostafa Kherghe-Poush (Editor) One of his important early experiences was editing Leila (Dariush Mehrjui). His work in keeping an even rhythm, using color feeds and timely cuts, was a major reason for the success of the melodrama. On the other hand, other works of Kherghe-Poush like Duel and Turtles Can Fly (Bahman Qobadi) were action films which prove his command of film editing. During the past decade, Kherghe-Poush has been phenomenal in terms of film editing. After a period of cooperation with Mohammad Reza Moueini (the seasoned editor) he started to work independently and is currently working with such famous directors as Massoud Kimiaei, Dariush Mehrjui, Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, and Alireza Davoud-Nejad. One of his controversial works was in The Boss (Massoud Kimiaei) which will go on public screens in the near future. The film was excluded from competition section of Fajr Film Festival and Kherghe-Poush has worked on it on various occasions. The final version which is marked for public screens is shorter than the original version.
