Reza Karam-Rezaei (Actor) Reza Karam-Rezaei is among the oldest actors of the Iranian cinema, stage and television. He was famous in 1970s for his supporting roles in major Iranian films and is now considered a pioneer of acting. He has not been working for more than a decade. He has published his memoirs, All My Friends, recently and in his lengthy autobiography, he has retold memories of his forty-year career in cinema and stage plays. His book has been welcomed and a number of critiques have been written on it. It is not customary for the Iranian artists to write memoirs, though three old actors, Mohammad Ali Keshavarz, Morteza Ahmadi, and Reza Karam-Rezaei have published their memoirs in preceding year. Karam-Rezaei has won a best supporting actor prize from Tehran International Film Festival (an international event held before the revolution) for his role in Fereidoun Goleh’s Beehive (1974).
