Kambozia Partovi (Director and Screenwriter)
This director and screenwriter, who was once one of the most talked-about figures in the Iranian cinema for children and young adults, furthered his career in the late 1990s by writing the screenplay of I, Taraneh, Am 15 (Rasoul Sadr Ameli). His latest Film, Transit Café, which was a movie about the situation of women in Iran, was Iran's representative in the Academy Awards ceremony in 2005. In recent months, he has completed a screenplay entitled Once Again My Beloved City and has been working on another screenplay, Searching for Hassan. This is an adaptation of a novel by Terence Ward based on a true story. It is the story of a family living abroad. They return to Iran to find the family chef, Hassan. This film will be produced by James Ivory.
